View of the Siq

Siq al-Barid, Jordan

 

The siq's  Arabic name means  (A canyon.) "Cold Siq," because it is said that sunlight doesn't reach the bottom of the cleft. The pleasant view seen here is reminiscent of the Siq in Petra.
